Playing with the Stony Brook play structure will make children feel like they are on top of the world. Each of the three interconnected square platforms may be reached by a number of different ways, which are all well marked. It is possible to reach the middle platform by way of a Rock Hole Climber and a set of easily accessible Transfer Station steps. It’s from there that visitors can cross a Tube Bridge to reach the other 4-foot deck, or they may ascend the steps to the 6-foot raised platform that serves as Stony Brook’s summit. It is also possible for young explorers to reach the second 4-foot deck by navigating the rough Stump Climber or traversing the difficult Craggy Climbers trails. They will be rewarded with a fun Double Slide that they may enjoy with their buddies once they arrive. However, the most thrilling slide on the structure, and most likely the entire playground, is the 76-inch Spiral Slide located at the top of the structure.
